n a 1944 letter to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore G. Bilbo, Byrd wrote,

“I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

As late as 1946, Byrd wrote to the Klan’s Grand Wizard: “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation.”

Running for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1952, Byrd worked to distance himself from his Klan activities. He claimed he lost interest in it after a year and dropped his membership in the group


byrd stopped supporting the clan 1952 when he got into politics other wise he would have still been in involved in it. tell the entire story not just the parts that make his raciest ass look good in your eyes, byrd is like Biden he would suck a fat cock to get votes tell any lie promise anything .

that is not what happened, clown, as if you give a shit about black kids. most black people were against having their kids bused from their neighborhood schools, from their friends, to be strangers at some other school in another part of town with no real connections. no school spirit, way less familiar faces among students and no familiar faces in staff and teachers, and white kids were being bused around ilke cattle, too, and most white people were against that, too!! dumbass liar. it was legislation passed by too liberal politicians, with a good heart, but in reality, it only made real integration harder, as both black and white kids being uprooted and forced to go to other schools, were too resentful to let natural integration run its course under better circumstances, like what happens in integrated workplaces and sports teams and the like.

here is the bottom line, fake ass equal rights supporter, forced busing has never been outlawed.....but almost all schools quit using this piece of shit policy by the mid-80's because it did more harm than good.

As for me and what I give a shit about, I guarantee I give a shit more than you, in money, time, and community, I grew up in a minority majority neighborhood both on the lower east side of NYC as well as Newark, NJ. I donate time and money to local inner city youth clubs and direct my company to provide free IT support for the same. I'm on the board of one of these clubs and have spent my life standing up to actual racists unlike you privileged white liberals barking about "Wokeness" from your safe white enclaves never to venture outside of your segregated comfort zone and calling anyone who disagrees with you a "Racist".

Busing was designed to let minorities and whites learn about each other with experiences instead of bigotted hate messages. As soon as it was installed ,the suburbanites plotted in how to gut it. We all knew they would.
