Watching the LA Fire Press Conference officials. Six of seven are women.

I don't care if they are women and I don't care who they share their ladyparts with. I just want to know that they were the MOST qualified individuals for the job. Given the path the democrats have taken I suspect some of them might be DEI hires. I want a chief that will publically climb up the mayor's ass and call out the problems the department has in doing their job. The current Fire Chief is a classic DEI hire and the proof is, that she? made a half hour press conference raving about DEI and promising to hire more women. What that leads to is a lowering of the physical standards, and down the drain we go.
Give me a well qualified transgender one-legged Albanian who knows how to handle DEI hired mayors and I am on board. Until then, fuck off woke lefties.

This is spot on. That's what the left doesn't get. No one cares if you have a pole or a hole or how you use either of them, can you do the job you were hired for? For leftists it's ONLY about genitalia and who you sleep with.

Of course not. Gender and race took precedence over competence. Been there seen that more than once over the years.

Oh, having the correct political views matters too. You could be a Native American, Pacific Islander, Female, lesbian, Black woman and conservative and you get passed over for the promotion because you don't have the correct political views.

Redirecting managerial time/money/focus to the DEI cult.

Decades of water mismanagement, perennial droughts while sitting next to the largest body of water in the world.

Fighting against fire management.

And their "plan" is "ban gasoline powered cars and lawnmowers"?
