I'm actually running this on my laptop, through a DDNS setup through feedns.afraid.org. It is far more reliable than Damo's substandard alternative. I'm actually running an SSH server on it as well, so that I can develop while away from my computer (although don't go looking for the port it's on, that would be an embarrassing breach of security and I would have to destroy you). This was actually the main point of setting up the DDNS address, the whole http server was a side project I set up because I was like, what the hell, how hard can it be (it took three hours). This is all on a Linux virtual machine running on windows, a setup I choose for the express purpose of pissing off Tom.

I originally had it at 22 like an idiot, then I set up my port forwarding so that WAN traffic is to another random port is forwarded to 22 while WAN traffic straight to 22 is just blocked by the router. Eventually, I'm planning on converting my old 256mb PC into a really sweet router that should be better on security stuff.
