PiMP pwned again.

No evidence to back up his contention that Obama is to blame for gas prices (but only when they increase).

If allowing the oil industry carte blanche drives gas prices down, how does PiMP explain price increases during GOP- dominated periods?

production restrictions.......remember, they were lifted in July, 2008, the same week the price dropped.....and put back in February 2009 the same week the price started going back up.....oh wait, that's evidence......

and what the fuck do you have against chickpeas?......

Problem is, PiMP, that gas prices also went up during Reagan and Poppy Bush's terms.

Since you contend that presidents control gas prices, and GOP presidents use their awesome powers to keep prices low, how do you explain this stubborn tendency of gasoline prices to rise despite Republican magic?

I would think the answer obvious.....you have to actually lift the restrictions on domestic oil production in order for the restrictions to be gone.....just having a Republican president isn't enough, you need to have a Republican president who lifted the restrictions.......lol, I just realized something......you didn't know that did you........I bet you don't know how good chickpeas are either......

Obviously, chuckles isn't aware of the deregulation that went on under Dead Eye Dick's reign with the Shrub.

More education for the "Drill, Baby, Drillers":

Because the United States is the world's largest importer, it is easy to forget that it:

indbul2a.gif
is the oldest major global oil producer;
indbul2a.gif
is currently the Number 2 global oil producer;
indbul2a.gif
has produced more oil, cumulatively, than any other country (180 billion barrels from 1918 to 1999);

Production in the United States has several unusual aspects. One is the private ownership of resource rights. In most major producing countries, the government owns the rights to develop resources.

For privately owned property in the United States, the decision to explore for and produce oil is between the landowner and the producing company. Since the early 1970s, there have been no restrictions to production by any government agency.
