My best guess is that such a reversal by these two Rep publican officials was a result of a large scale outcry. The fact that these two individuals even engaged in such a tactic (which earned them overwhelming praise from tRump) is certainly alarming in it's own right.

They took a private meeting and the guy in charge explained to the reds how mail ballots were handled. Once they understood the process their doubts were settled.

You would think that an election official would already KNOW how votes are tabulated. Yet another glaring example of tRump supporter ignorance.
 
People need to catch up. They reversed the reversal and claim they were bullied and harassed
