Cruise Marriage
BRACCIANO, Italy (AP) -- Tom Cruise, waving to fans, arrived in this medieval town Saturday for his star-studded wedding to Katie Holmes, a few hours after his future bride and her baby, Suri were driven through the gates of a 15th-century castle.
Small flames from oil lamps flickered from the battlements of Odescalchi Castle as hundreds of the town's residents and fans of the actors crowded the small square outside.
Pouring rain had forced Holmes, who wore a black dress and boots, and her daughter, clad in a white outfit, to take shelter under large, green umbrellas as they left their limousine earlier in the day. But the sun was shining on the castle when Cruise arrived, and the actor, wearing dark glasses, leaned forward from the back seat of the van to wave.
