I came across a website for a business that was designed to appeal to customers of a certain race. what do you think about such an idea? I find it strange that they would want to segregate their potential customers. I'm interested to hear what people think

Depends on the product, such as hair care and make-up for certain textures and skin tones.

So what is the website, it's hard to judge without any evidence!

Kind of hard to say without knowing the product. In theory I would think businesses would market to all people equally but like christifan said there could be some products such as skin care that would be marketed different to people based on their skin tone or something else along those lines. Would really need to see the product to make a more informed judgement.

It should be fine just so long as the site isn't exclusive to white christian conservative males.
