Celticguy, it's generally Republicans that are proponents of everyone's right to own and carry a gun, with to accompanying responsibility attached to that right.
It's generally Republicans that believe many of the same election official that correctly administered and then certified 2016 elections results, deliberately miscounted the votes in 2020.
It was generally Republican insurrectionists that that attempted to illegally reverse the outcome of the 2020 elections.
It's generally Republicans who are opposed to any reasonable background checks before a person is permitted to own or carry a gun.
It's almost exclusively Republican Congressional members who chose to support the National Rifle Association at the risk to our population's safety; Republican members of congress like children, but they need the support of the NRA.
