What are the "nose holding" Trump voters thinking now?

By that, I mean the Trump voters that were hoping that Trump would somehow mature and grow into the job of President. These folks were glad to see Trump surround himself with intelligent and patriotic generals (minus Flynn), hoping that these men could somehow restrain Trump from his bombastic tendencies and be the adults in the room. Now that these adults are gone from the administration and the cabinet will soon be nothing more than "All the President's 'Yes' Men", I wonder what they think now?

No logic or thinking involved. Trump is a religion. For followers, he can do no wrong. They are emotionally involved with Trump and any criticisms are taken at an emotional level.Slamming Trump is like slamming them personally and it angers them. They get defensive. His 33 percent base is as solid as it can be.

Gotta admit...they ARE rock solid.

Especially their heads!

538 has Trump falling steadily to 13 points negative, which will continue. That would indicate Trump's base of 36 to 38% is holding steadily.

I always viewed the nose holders as those who didn't care for anything trump, but wanted their tax cuts and stacked courts.

I view those who really never believed he was competent, but 'wanted to give him a chance' as those wide eyed voters who typically don't pay much attention to politics, but decided to jump on the carousel just this once.

They typically had little unicorns hanging from their rear view mirrors in the eighties.

nope. we like trump because the globalist worldview is retarded, and we want something else.

Many I have talked to say that the GOP has to come up with a better candidate in 2020, or they will vote Democrat, meaning they are done with Trump.

There were plenty of people who were unsure of Trump but decided to take a shot at change. Many union people fell for Trumps song and dance act. I am sure they learned. You do not get fair play for the people by voting for a plutocrat.Trump has done what the wealthy wanted at the expense of the masses.
