Does that mean it will keep going that way after Trump takes office?
Many economists have already said they are really afraid of what is going to happen to the US and world economy if Trump puts his 20/30 % or more tariffs in place.
Some of them are already saying it could put us in a deep recession / Depression.
What is happening now is no indicator of what will happen after Trump gets in office.

So when Trump puts his 20/30 /40% or more tariffs in place and every thing you buy goes up by that much you won't cry about prices going up like you did under Biden and inflation.
And if you are like Trump and don't seem to understand that the country that makes the goods you buy don't pay the Tariffs but passes the cost on to the consumer you ARE as stupid as he is.
So again don't cry when the cost of just about EVERYTHING you buy goes up 20/30 /40%.
It IS the CONSUMER that pays those tariffs.

I AM pointing out when Trump does impose his tariffs, He says he is going to , the price of just about EVERYTHING you buy will go up and maybe a lot MORE then what the tariffs are and YOU will start crying again about the high prices AGAIN.
And IF he puts on 20/30/40% or MORE tariffs prices WILL go UP a LOT more then they did because of inflation under Biden.
And as those economists have pointed out it could lead us into one of the biggest Recessions / Depressions we have ever seen.
Again watch out what you wish for once you get it and it bites you in the ass it IS TOO LATE to go back.

We should only put tariffs on goods we can produce here, and bring those prices up to American made goods.
Goods we aren't producing here can remain as they are until we can produce them here. Make America self sufficient again.
