What if, every night when you go to sleep, you die, your personality is duplicated, wiped, and then reinstalled in your brain.

of course, it all seems seamless to us.

But we've died many times before.

If you were sober; then as a mod, can't you fix your own title so it makes sense?

It didn't work Grind. I slept soundles......errr seamlessly. :)
 
Man... I would hate to work in a hospital at night... never knowing who was really dying and who was just sleeping...

....some idiots here have too much time on their hands to think... that's a dangerous thing, imho.
 
What if, in fact, you and this entire universe were merely called into existence for an infintisemely small moment, with all your memories of your past life simply programmed into your brain (so that you think you've had a life), just to stop existing after this small slice of time had ended? You could not tell the difference between a moment in which the former has happened and the moment as you believe it to be occurring.
