What is the difference between the military draft and slavery?

Text Drivers are Killers

Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
Draftees are forced to work for others. They are not allowed to choose their home or their food. Tens of millions of american men (no women) have been drafted and they deserve reparations too.

Slavery makes the individual permanent property, drafted soldiers are paid for their service, it's more like forced indentured servitude.

Paid for their service??? HAHAHA. They were paid a pittance and that doesn't count. Now tell us what is the difference between slavery and forced indentured servitude.

Draftees get paid. Draftees are given time off work, still own their property, get paid vacation too. They are also in for only 2 years or the duration of a conflict. For those promoted to officer or senior NCO (E-7 to 9), they can choose their food if they so desire as part of a closed mess.
One might note that roughly 30% of all draftees are turned down for military service when they report. The usual reasons are medical issues or that they are too stupid to be in the military. Yes, you can be too stupid to be in the military...

Draftees get the same pay and allowances as volunteers. They have the same opportunities for advancement as well. The more qualified draftees can go to training and schools for advanced skills and generally are not put in jobs like being infantry.
