That’s a pretty funny photo, didn’t he on the first take have it upside down?

“The ban on political campaign activity by charities and churches was created by Congress more than a half century ago. The Internal Revenue Service administers the tax laws written by Congress and has enforcement authority over tax-exempt organizations. Here is some background information on the political campaign activity ban and the latest IRS enforcement statistics regarding its administration of this congressional ban.
I don't remember those "mass screechings" about church and state. Can you give us an example?
Listening to a speech is not a "campaign activity." That law about campaign activity is never enforced. Churches have been sending the IRS videos of their preachers making political endorsements hoping they will try to enforce the law so they can challenge its constitutionality.
Separation of church and state (the establishment clause) does not prohibit political activities of church members. It prohibits government from making laws which help or hinder religion.

duckduckgo Trumps walk to St. Johns church.
Heels up harris decides to invade black churches with her political message. I seem to remember every time any church mentioned the word Trump, there were mass screechings from the alt-lefties about church and state but now that a recovering prostitute on the left is doing it, it's ok?

Totally depends on what she says.
duckduckgo Trumps walk to St. Johns church.
I didn't sat it was. I said what separation of church and state and followed it up with I don't like it regardless of what side one resides on politically. Admit tHeels up harris was pandering to black voters. The same group the democrats ignore when there is not an election in sight.
There has NEVER been a "separation" clause in the Constitution. It's an ESTABLISHMENT clause.
It actually reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
I grow weary of uneducated morons on the left prattling this stupidity about.![]()
Twofold. Separation of church and state takes away any chance to have a state religion and one that is deeply involved in the creation and implementation of the laws. The Christians are fighting to get that exact power. it also allows others to be free from religion.
You can read the so called ,self proclaimed religious people on this board if you want to see the hypocrisy of religion. Religion is something to fear.

Stupidity and lack of education is something to fear. You show that every time you post. Go wipe your chin.
Simple solution: Stop preventing Churches from paying their property taxes.
Wrong Jack it's illegal, and no conservatives I have ever seen have done something so blatantly illegal as this is. They are doing it because they know neither chamber of congress will do anything because Democrats are in charge, the only time this woman set foot in a church was to probably blow some Pastor friend of Willie Brown!
It would be unconstitutional to exempt just churches from property taxes. It applies to all non-profits.
