Your linked article, btw, is honest. They won't be able to do much with the actual content, other than carry a decidedly conservative slant and obvious smarm. Where their purchase will reflect is in the OpEd's and letters to the editor. When my local paper was bought out by teabaggers, we ended up with more nutty conspiracies in the letters section than this board. And of course, the evil Doonesbury will be canned.
I still subscribe because a three month, 7 day subscription is now around $8.00, about half of what the former one month subscription cost. Can we say desperate?
