”Key questions as Trump hurtles toward deadline to pay $454 million fraud penalty”

“Donald Trump is hurtling toward a critical deadline in his most costly legal battle to date. If the former president doesn’t come up with a financial guarantee by Monday, New York’s attorney general can start the process of collecting on the more than $454 million Trump owes the state in a civil fraud lawsuit.”

“That’s raised the possibility that New York Attorney General Letitia James could start trying to enforce the judgment as soon as Monday.”

“If Trump isn’t able to pay, the state could levy and sell his assets, lien his real property and garnish anyone who owes him money”

“Potential targets could include properties such as his Trump Tower penthouse, Wall Street office building and golf courses. James’ office could also seek court permission to drain Trump’s bank accounts and investment portfolios, or sell off other assets like his planes, helicopters — or even his golf carts.”

“Seizing assets is a common legal tactic when someone can’t access enough cash to pay a civil penalty”

So what is Trump to do?

If they take away his golf carts he can’t play golf, his fat ass would never make it around a golf course walking not to mention losing the exorbitant rental cost he profits by charging the SS. If he loses his apartment in Trump Tower the wife will be angry deprived of the shopping and culture in NYC. The cult can’t fork over that much money. And God forbid he declares bankruptcy which even a concocted Bankruptcy Big Lie would not hide the failure

And please, spare us the “no victims” bullshit, he broke the law, just as anyone of us would do if we ran a Stop sign, the Judge ain’t going to waive the ticket cost cause there was “no victims”

He'll be fine... it's nice of you to be concerned, though...

It's nice of you to help them out... now they'll have to comment... before they would have just said "I will never click on a link you provide"... even though they always do...;) (excuse my slight edit.... enough of their heads exploding this morning...)

Explain how Trump is not getting equal and impartial justice.

Every single thing you have ever said has been a lie.

Simply not true....

That is correct. What you said is not true. Trump is in deep shit. He cannot come up with the money. NY will be forced to liquidate his property. With what he owes on it, it may not suffice. Trump os simply a horrible person.

Thomas Jefferson owned human beings as slaves, I don't think citing him as the arbiter of justice and equality is very effective or convincing.

He'll be fine... justice will prevail... I do feel bad for New York... they may have to find another city to drop the ball next year...

Even that is a lie.

You lie about your own identity on JPP because that's the only way anyone would take anything you say seriously.

No it's not... and I have never lied about my identity... I'm a retired special ed teacher .... if you're so sure I'm not let's bet on it...;) you tell me what proof you need and I will happily send it to the only neutral moderator here...

You just keep lying to cover for the lying you've already done.

You claimed to have been a teacher but no one has been able to verify that, and when you're asked to verify that, you stall and deflect and avoid.

That's because you're a liar.
