It’s a natural thing for the party in power to lose seats in the mid-terms, sometimes they lose by a narrow margin, and sometimes it’s an epic ass-kicking. I usually hate blaming the media for all of our ills, but I will make one observation.

Biden's press conference was mostly questions about covid and Ukraine. On covid--tough shit, we have to live with it. On Ukraine--who gives a shit.

Yet media (NYtimes, Washington Post) continue to call Biden a failure and daily obsess on polls. To what end? Nothing.

Also, you gerrymandered all you could in the 2010's, and now those gerrymandered maps are coming back to bite you in the ass, specifically in states like LA, SC, and AL...where the GOP is going to have to give up a seat so Black people can have representation.
