The Bush Administration loves to claim responsibility for anything that seems to be good news in America. For YEARS, they pointed to record numbers of Americans "owning" their own homes.

Funny, you don't hear them crowing about this since record numbers are now LOSING their homes.

Bush and company have a history of pointing toward things that seem to going well, and claiming responsibility, then are dead silent when the eventual reversal of fortune occurs.
