At some point, Mueller will be done with his investigation, so I wanted to open up a prediction thread for how the left will respond once it is over. My personal prediction is that the investigation will amount to a nothingburger when it shuts down, but the MSM and the left will go on for another six months about how it really was a somethingburger. I suspect that the left will not be able to accept defeat any more than they were able to when Trump won the election. The MSM will shift there coverage to how the bad actors of the deep state are not really guilty of all the bad things they have done.

Collusion isn't a crime, and proving it is nearly impossible, the Trump and the right keep framing it as if nothing but collusion is proved the investigation was a waste. Mueller was never appointed to prove collusion, rather investigate Russian influence and if there existed any connection between the Trump campaign and Russian efforts. He was also given permission to further investigate any illegalities that he uncovered along the way.

And up to this point, he has been successful in this endeavor based upon the number of indictments and guilty pleas he has collected along the way
