We all know about the UN's complete failure in the Sudan. Now we have this ever escalating situation in Palestine... yet the UN sits back and does nothing to protect the people of Palestine. Similar to their do nothing approach in the Sudan.

Where is the all powerful UN that searched Iraq in three months (after failing for 12 years) and declared they were sure that everything was ok? If they are that friggin efficient, surely they can send in troops to stop the violence in a matter of days? then perhaps follow suit in the Sudan?

Why are they yet again sitting on their ass and doing nothing?

Oh.. thats right... in reality they are completely inept.:pke:
 
I will also point out that while US and others were expressing their love/hate relationship with fox... they neglected the bigger story of the day.... how ironic.... why weren't you talking about this instead of wasting time talking about a news channel you supposedly despise for ignoring the same shit you are "ignoring" :D

They're staying silent until the United States is done building the new world order for them to come in and manage. You think we're fighting for america over there?

American doesn't exist anymore. National sovereignty is yesterday's news.

The UN doesn't have any troops. It doesn't have a standing army. The UN is just an office in New York City.

The Member States of the Security Council make all the UN decisions on security. And the member states provide the armed forces. That would be: United States, UK, France, Russia, China.

In a way, we are fighting for american based business interests in Iraq and Afganistan.

as for your UN comments... the UN still has the ability to initiate action. Thus far all they have done is suspend aid to Palestine.... that'll help the Palestinian people out. Not only do they get to deal with Hamas and Fatah, but they get food shortages too. YEAH!!!!

I am saying that after years of the cons wanting the un out the way of it's colonialistic ambitions they have just about succeeded.

The world used to be this way, a couple huge empires dividing the globe between themselves. But eventually people want self rule, because faroff governors with no connection to the people tend to not take care of them properly. Should we put the fate of americans into the hands of foreign technocrats who express hatred for america all day long?

Come on wannbe real USC. To be that you must actually be positive and succesful. That doesn't mean being over 50 and being on a chat board with one line answers like a teenager. One would hope one would have more to add to a discussion than what is currently being offered by one who is about to retired a supposive millionaire. The UN is as strong as the US chooses for it to be. Bush hates the UN so its weak, he failes to see that a strong UN can be a powerfull tool for the advancement of American interests. Like calm in the Gaza strip or a nation building mission in Iraq.
