I personally think if Kamala Harris had an ounce of genuine intelligence or even a speck of wisdom, she'd jump at the chance to score the mother of all book deals by spilling the beans on the Biden decline—let's be charitable and call it that—laying out all the juicy, unvarnished details from the last four years. If the reviews suggested she was actually honest for once, I'd be first in line to buy it. Honestly, she should cash in and then hightail it out of politics for good. I don't see her being electable for anything. What's your take on this?

I didn't need the Wall Street Journal or the New York Times to spot his blatantly obvious decline, which started well before he became president. I was just being charitable by saying 2021, giving a gentle nudge to those struggling with reality until some left-wing rag gives them permission to acknowledge it. Remember those hilariously entertaining Zoom calls during his 2020 campaign? The idea that his decline only kicked in recently just shows how blind the hive can be, even after it's been outed. Some still cling to the Kool-Aid, but thankfully, enough people escaped the hive before November. You don't need courtroom-level evidence to see what's right in front of your eyes.
 
I suspect Shamala will be the nominee of the Democrat Party again in 2028 if she wants to be.

They can hardly refuse to give her the nomination, can they??

I've heard quite a few Democrats expressing frustration over a range of issues. There's a story going around about a union boss who allegedly got confrontational with a surrogate, sticking her finger in his face and saying, "You'd better get in line," while only answering 4 out of the 20 questions they posed. This has led to significant backlash; he's made it clear he won't support her moving forward. Major donors are also voicing their discontent with her financial management, suggesting she should step aside due to the damage she's caused. She was the first to exit the 2020 primary without securing a single delegate. In my view, she has a lot of bridges to rebuild if she hopes to regain any credibility.

None of that matters, IMO.

They will be forced to give her the nomination if she wants it because I believe that to refuse would mean they could be branded as racist and misogynist.

I'm not sure who you consider 'they', but if you're talking about the ones who installed her without a single vote in the last election, 'they' won't pull off that trick again without a primary. Considering she was so unpopular in her own party during the last campaign that she was the first to drop out, without any accusations of racism from Democratic voters, I don't think you've really thought this through. But hey, I've been wrong before.

Your prediction may turn out to be accurate, or, it may not.

Accusations of racism and misogyny are considered powerful talismans in the Party of the Jackass, in my experience. I suspect the reluctance to be accused of their own cardinal sins would trump any reservations about Shamala's qualifications or popularity with the rank and file.
