Which is a larger change, Trump Winning, or the Congress going Red?

The forums and MSM are all focused on what is projected as the huge change, moving from Harris-Blue, to Trump-Red...

But, I would argue, that the Executive, if the office is performed lawfully, is not as important to the major issues/problems facing America, as the Congress (Legislature) and the SCOTUS (Judicial)

Biden, and Obama both, were allowed to bypass the other two major branches of government, to rule as a King, by Executive Order Fiat. But if Trump stays within the oath of office, and Constitutionally given role, as President...

I would argue, that for the problems and issues, that the Nation is facing, the shift of the Congress from blue to red, will actually be more important than the change in the Executive, other than the Executive returning to the roles for it, defined in the Constitution.

We are talking allot about the changes that Trump will make, but shouldn't we also be talking about the changes that the newly-Red Congress will make?

This was a landslide victory for the GOP, but not just in the Presidency!

If you look carefully at the issue of the makeup of the SCOTUS, yes, the Executive makes a Nomination, but it is Congress who makes the approval.

So in 2024, we moved toward getting more Conservative Justice Nominations, probably 3-4 of them. But we also moved significantly toward those nominations being quickly approved.

Without the nomination, the candidate won't achieve the office, but without the approval of Congress, they won't achieve the office.

So which was more important? Or were they equal?

When the Lefties are focusing their "Resistance" and "Hatred" campaign on just Trump, will they overlook the other shoe to drop?

Will Congress, with its new political-lean, be able to address many of the nation's problems, while the Lefties Rail on Trump?

If the Lefties try to hate, shun, lawfare, disrupt and assassinate both Executive and Legislative, will they spread themselves so thin, they accomplish nothing?

We all know that McConnell, Thune, and Cornyn won't be on the Lefties Assassination List...

But I would expect that Rand Paul will be top of the list.

Like his first two years in 2016-2020?

The limp wrist GOP Congress can not sneeze unless Trump tells them to, and you think they are going to solve anything?

All this election, along with the aid of the Trump Court, is make the Federal Government, especially the Executive Branch, more powerful, which runs directly contrary to all Regan and traditional GOP principles

There are allot of Republicans, Particularly in the Senate, such as McConnell, Thune, and Cornyn, who are establishment Uniparty, and hate Trump with a passion. They will work against Trump every step of the way. They are not Opposition to the Democrats, they are Controlled Opposition Uniparty.

But the extra seats won in 2024, gives the Congress a bit more wiggle room to deal with Uniparty aile crossers.

One of the many reasons, I believe the Congress-Win in 2024 was at least as important as the Trump-win!

This election was a seminal event. It is not hyperbole to say that it is the most meaningful political event in decades.

The Democratic nominee had every advantage...the media, unlimited funding (nearly one billion that has now resulted in a twenty million dollar deficit) the celebrities in Hollywood, and an incumbent VP.

But the Republicans had Donald Trump, who ran a brilliant campaign spending 356 million to Harris' 881 million (US News). He was laser focused on the issues while Harris was a no show on the issues and flip-flopping the few times that she did show up.

The Republicans had teams of volunteers and lawyers to challenge every attempt by the Democrats to cheat. Lara Trump performed brilliantly in her position as the RNC Co-Chair. President-elect Trump should be very proud of his family.

On election night, I and many others, were shocked at the magnitude of the success of the Red Team. The presidency and the Senate were flipped and it appears that the House will remain with the Republicans.

I was skeptical of a victory by the Republicans. I thought that cheating and the massive bias of the media and the huge advantage in campaign funding would prevent this type of victory.

Trump broke the Democrats, hopefully for a very long time.

It’s morning in America.

I'd disagree that the Dem had "every advantage." She had a very short timeframe to campaign & really introduce herself to the American people - that was an extreme disadvantage. You can argue that this is the fault of the Dems for running Biden in the first place, but the reality remains that no one would think such a short amount of time would be anything but a huge disadvantage.

Republicans mainly benefited from inflation & the timing of that. I thought Trump actually ran a pretty poor, undisciplined campaign. Even many on the right complained about that MSG event late in the campaign.

People generally vote their wallets - and they did this time, also.

Congress has been UniParty, and will stay UniParty.

Right now based upon appointment announcements it does not look like Trump is going to soften the blow of the dying Empire at all, he is appointing WarPigs and the transition team announced that Kennedy is not going to be put in a position of power.

in 2016 the shit stain party used the Russian nonsense to prevent the winning side from implementing their agenda

now with no power - and nobody in their retarded bullpen - it is going to be a long dark period for the shit stains

enjoy it

Preventing the American people from having our will, this treason from Deep State was first and foremost an attack on the Constitution.
