CARO (CBS Detroit) A 9-year-old boy’s birthday cupcakes sparked a school controversy that just keeps growing, with scores of people lining up against a school principal who found the cupcake’s topping “inappropriate.”

The boy was chided, and so were his parents, for cupcakes featuring little green Army men on the top.

Schall Elementary School principal Susan Wright called the parents at home and said the cupcakes were insensitive in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting. School staff pulled off the Army men before they were served.

Policy was set a long time ago. Nobody to blame but the overprotective parents of that school district.
 
Really ? Tell us all about it....what exactly do or did the parents of the district have to do with this particular event.....?
Was it the regular liberal idiocy "that soldiers are evil" policy ?

What did the parents do?

They met in front of their local school board and set the policy that led to this situation.

How hard it that to understand?

I know you're looking for a way to blame this on Obama...but you're SOL.

I think anyone who knows how school boards work can safely conclude no parents participated in the decision that little green plastic men on cupcakes would not be allowed........nobody needs to prove that to anyone except Zappa and nobody cares enough to prove it to him.......

So parents have no input and don't participate in the decision making process the school board, that THE PARENTS ELECTED, go through?

So parents don't attend school board meetings, stand up, give their input and tell the school board members what they want and DON'T WANT to be allowed at their children's schools?

Of COURSE they do, it's only partisan hacks like PMP and NOVA who claim otherwise.
