There are somewhere around 5800 existing Greek manuscripts of the New Testament in existence. The earliest of which is somewhere around the second century. Among those, there are hundreds of thousands of variants. Additions, subtractions, contradictions and other errors. So, we have a couple hundred years of copying before we even see a portion of the FIRST version.
So, for the adherents to the “inerrant word of God”, which version is the correct one?
Or, can the true believer just admit that it is a set of books and stories written by ordinary men merely intended to convey their individual messages about the life and message of Jesus?
