The White House has been struggling to keep up with the pace of scandal surrounding President Donald Trump, and the latest allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court, have just added more fuel to the fire.

According to a new report from Vanity Fair reporter Gabriel Sherman, some of Trump’s advisers are fearful more damning claims about Kavanaugh may emerge.

White House advisers are worried that more damaging information about Kavanaugh could come out. Two sources told me the White House has heard rumors that Ford’s account will be verified by women who say she told it to them contemporaneously. People worry, without apparent evidence, of another Ronan Farrow bomb dropping. One source says Ivanka Trump has told her father to “cut bait” and drop Kavanaugh.

trump was talking to reporters today. they asked if he would have the FBI investigate the Kavanaugh problem. He said "they don't do that. They did it 6 times, but they don't do that'. WTF was that? he is such an idiot. However there are women coming out who back Ford saying they heard about what happened.

It is highly peculiar that the President has not attacked professor Ford.

Trump was always pretty slimy.

His lack of slime in this case is perplexing - until you realize that he's worried about losing power. Then it makes more sense.

I guess he's officially a slimy politician NOW...
 
Anyone think the all-boys prep school spoiled brat kid only did this once? He was drunk and privileged. The rules and laws for him are like they are for Trump, annoyances.

Do you want President Trump to tell the independent FBI what and what not to investigate? Wouldn’t that be obstruction of justice?

is there a planet where that post makes sense? Not on this one. Opening the investigation is the opposite of obstruction. I understand that is foreign to you but leftys want more transparency. Rightys claim they do, while clamping down on any and all info that they do not like getting out.

Investigating is what the FBI does, This hearing should have as much data and info as is possible to obtain. There is no rush unless the rightys know more bad info is coming out because of their checks. he could be on the court for 40 years or more. what is a few days, or even a few weeks. Reds want 2 woman abusers on the court at the same time. Where they headed? It cannot be good for women.
