White kids, racism and the way privileged parenting props up an unjust system

Hagerman found important differences in the ways that parents talked to their children about race, and important differences in the ways that kids responded. But she also found that white parents — even anti-racist white parents — actively reproduce inequality.

Some parents, Hagerman found, preferred to keep race unspoken. Families she interviewed in a wealthy, conservative suburb, for example, tended to avoid the topic of race with their children. "They adhered to a color blind way of thinking," Hagerman told me. "They would say that race doesn't matter, or that we're beyond race." One girl told Hagerman that in her school, they weren't even allowed to say the word "racist"

White America is in denial of racism. It's why it continues.

Lots of whites believe the lies and stereotypes of Blacks, Muslims and Mexicans.

It's why dump is in office now. WHITE PEOPLE PUT HIM IN OFFICE.

SERIOUSLY......someone on this board today actually asked if the racist is otherwise a good person??????????????

How the fuck can you be a racist and a good person?

Mind boggling.

I notice a lot of black people just complain a lot. After a while, you begin to wonder if they are just crybabies?

Black parents, in most cases, a single black baby mama, since she doesn't know the sperm donor, should stop teaching their kids to hate white people. If it weren't for whites, they'd be dressing in animal skins and chasing monkeys around try to find one to fuck.

Must hurt to know that whites get to decide what justice is.
