White supremacists created HRC meme

Let's not pretend Trump has clean hands.

"Donald Trump tweeted a meme Saturday that used dog-whistle anti-Semitism to announce that his political rival, "Crooked Hillary," had "made history."

The meme Trump tweeted prominently featured the Star of David, a holy symbol of the Jewish religion that Nazis attempted to pervert by forcing Jews over the age of 6 to sew it onto their clothing during Hitler's reign. Emblazoned onto the Star of David in Trump's meme are the words "Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!" The star lies atop a giant pile of money.

Mic discovered Sunday that Donald Trump's Twitter account wasn't the first place the meme appeared. The image was previously featured on /pol/ — an Internet message board for the alt-right, a digital movement of neo-Nazis, anti-Semites and white supremacists newly emboldened by the success of Trump's rhetoric — as early as June 22, over a week before Trump's team tweeted it.

Of note is the file name of the photo, HillHistory.jpg, potentially a nod to the Neo-Nazi code for "HH," or "Heil Hitler," which the alt-right is fond of hiding in plain sight. The watermark on the lower-left corner of the image leads to a Twitter account that regularly tweets violent, racist memes commenting on the state of geopolitical politics."

It's not the first time the Führer has used material from a white supremacist source, is it?

No. And now he's trying to blame HRC, apparently for slamming herself in a meme just to create sympathy or something.

"Donald Trump says Hillary Clinton’s campaign is “ridiculous” to portray an anti-Clinton tweet that appeared to depict the Star of David atop a pile of cash as anti-Semitic. In a statement issued by his Republican presidential campaign, Trump suggested Clinton and her allies were using the matter to distract from her own recent campaign troubles.

Trump says the tweet portrayed “a basic star, often used by sheriffs who deal with criminals and criminal behavior.”

It was his most extensive comment since his official account tweeted— then deleted — the image of the six-point star Saturday, sparking an uproar over its potentially anti-Semitic connotations.

Bbbbut .... it's just a sheriff's badge, isn't it? :rofl2:

Yeah that must be it. There's four times as many police departments as sheriffs' offices in the US but god forbid he should use a shield to make his point.

Except the whole image - Hillary's face, the money, the Star of David - all of it - came from a white supremacist meme.

This has got to be the stupidest crap you lefty idiots have come up with yet. And you guys hate Israel anyway, so what's the big deal?

Keep telling yourself that.

Even Lewandowski's sticking up for his former boss. None of them have scruples. And the ADL doesn't think it's so innocent.

"We've been troubled by the anti-Semites and racists during this political season, and we've seen a number of so-called Trump supporters peddling some of the worst stereotypes all through this year," Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, said in a statement to The Daily Beast. "And it's been concerning that [Donald Trump] hasn't spoken out forcefully against these people. It is outrageous to think that the candidate is sourcing material from some of the worst elements in our society. I mean, I don't recall a time ... when a presidential campaign of the presumptive GOP nominee [did something like this]. It boggles the mind."

Looks like a pattern of behavior to me.

hh :rofl2:

It is.

"Trump's Twitter activity has come under repeated scrutiny in the past few months alone. In November, he came under fire for tweeting out a factually incorrect graphic that purported to show that blacks killed 81 percent of white homicide victims. In January, the candidate retweeted a message from @WhiteGenocideTM."

The only lowercase letters on the original image filename are "hh" which, considering it was posted on a neo-Nazi board...is fucked, since it's a reference to "Heil Hitler". :rofl2:

The six-pointed star and the blue/white color combination vaguely relate to Zionism, not Judaism. Judaism has no flag. Zionism is a political movement. For sure- it hides behind Judaism but it is not supported by the widespread Jewish community.

Crying ' antisemitism ' over a general symbol and specific colors is a foul.
