Who here supports Federally Funded Primary Education?

I support guaranteed public education on all levels. And a price cap on all private schools.

If we're to really deal with the problem of class stagnancy, education is the place to start.

When children and teachers in the Government schools were allowed to pray things were better, as the link I posted proved. Now that prayer is banned, things have gotten worse.

How depressing. What religion is very good at is distracting folks from the material causes of suffering. And if these causes are ignored, that suffering will not resolve itself, no matter how much you pray - it may well get worse.

Thusly, religion, especially Christianity, has been a powerful tool of the ruling class. Tom Mann was very explicit when explaining how the English plutocrats would associate themselves heavily with the Church. This is no less true in modern America.

How depressing that folks like you continue to exist.

Allow me to rephrase.

How is my private, personal conversation with God less acceptable to Him than vocal public prayer.

There is a big difference between going out, proselytizing and spreading the word; and requiring our elementary school children to be led in prayer every morning.

Can you point me to any scripture that says any conversation with our Heavenly Father must be able to be heard by others nearby to carry any validity with God?

There is in fact scripture that tells you not to make a display!

I think college should be free. But not just the standard university fare, but also vocational training. We always hear that not everyone should go to college. But everyone should have a skill they can market. Teach them a trade and they will earn a living.
I agree, if the Governnmet pays for their education, either college or vocational, then they need to pay the Government back via their tax schedule, etc, but not so much each year to burden them down. The faster they pay the Government back though, the less interest that College student, with that good job would have to pay, as the College loan progressed along. There would be no way to get out of paying the Government back their student loan, because it would be taged with their Social Security number. If the student made a lot of money one year, then more of the loan would need to be payed back. The Government in the long run, makes interest on the Loan itself and also collects more income tax from the better paying job, that the freshly graduated student should be getting, naturally if everything goes as planned.

Same here, but there are plenty who want to change that.

They do? Right now it isn't limited to "rich" people, although my mother could not afford my education I got one, and you say that so did you, then you say people want to change that? What exactly are you saying?
