I'm going to post a descriptive paragraph of a prominent political figure and I want you to guess who is being described here.

Abandoned by his father to a troubled single mother; eventually raised by grandparents. He is then recruited from an Ivy league law school by shadow figures, a specific billionaire and a network of interests. He changes his name, writes a book about his life story, and with the support of the aforementioned – who eventually pays for the assembly of a strategic campaign influence network, becomes a Senator for 2 years before being quickly elevated into position in the White House.

Oh dear god, another "Attack Obama" thread. The guy hasn't been in office now for over 8 years.

Can we get a clarification that the GOP is now nothing but "Greivances against former Dems" party?

Thank you for your guess. It is HALF correct.

What I mean by "half correct" is, while it DOES (mostly) accurately describe Obama, it's not who I actually have in mind.

I'm genuinely surprised by the lack of posts from fellow "right-wingers" in this thread so far...

I'll reveal the answer if nobody can accurately guess it, but until then I'd like to see some more people make some more guesses.
