Who is FEELING better?

I was totally prepared to vote for Joe Biden with resignation.
Joe's not a bad guy by any stretch,
but he's even older than I,
and we've already gotten his best.

My party rarely nominates my chosen candidate,
and I normally vote for whomever we nominate with resignation,
because regardless of how many candidates are on the general election ballot,
my party's nominee is ALWAYS, in my view, the least bad.

Not this time. This is one of those rare times that we've nominated somebody that I REALLY LIKE,
and I'm looking forward to voting with enthusiasm!!!

Oh yes. We are now poised to snatch victory from the jaws of Trump. We are going to save this nation and continue to restore dignity, class, intelligence, ethics, competence, and respect to the presidency. Even better, I expect that a resounding Harris victory will also mean majorities for the (D)s in both chambers. We will finally get the work of the people done. Remember that bipartisan immigration bill? I expect that one of President Harris's first moves will be to revive and pass it. Then it will be time to really get to work.

I'm feeling a lot more hopeful and optimistic!

I'm not sure I know enough about Kamala yet to really be in love with her candidacy but I'm SUPER STOKED that she's now leading the ticket. She is a breath of fresh air compared to the quagmire we were slogging through. Don't get me wrong: Joe was a good president. No problems. But he definitely needed to open the door for the next generation of politicos.

The bar is pretty low for anyone who goes up against Trump, but Trump's flying monkeys are not to be ignored. I think Kamala is a good choice and should easily be able to outclass, out debate, out perform Don-old. I do have a bit of a niggling worry in the back of my mind, however, that the Trumpists are already prepping for what happens when they lose and it probably won't be a pleasant experience for the rest of us.

Still, at the end of the day, I am feeling a LOT more positive about the future now.

I'm happy. Not so much because Biden is old. I think he would have handled the job just fine. But because I like Kamala better. Se was in my top-10 list in 2020. Biden wasn't. But I have to acknowledge that he did a better job than I expected.

Now we get to see all the JPP leftists getting their rocks off. Their parade of million/billionaires is ending and the idiots are all excited now. If you live in a flood zone you may want to evaluate for a few days.

I was going to vote for Biden again!

I was willing to vote for Kamala- or whomever won the DEMOCRATIC Primary- back in 2020.

I am proud to vote for Democrats- because I see all Republicans as just WHITE EVANGELICAL RACISTS AND SEXISTS who are only conserving THEIR WHITE MALE SUPERIORITY OF THE PAST! I GUESS THAT IS WHY THEY REFER TO THEMSELVES AS CONSERVATIVES!

BECAUSE THEY KEEP PROVING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN BY NOMINATING HORRIBLE PEOPLE LIKE DONALD TRUMP AND J.D. VANCE FOR EXAMPLE!

I think Biden made a good decision, but I'm the type that generally waits for more data to come in. It's still early in the 4th quarter and our backup QB has just taken the field.

He did a great job despite all the roadblocks the (R)s threw up. But as the poster above said, it was high time to pass the torch. I wish the (D)s had gone with a younger candidate in 2020, but it worked out okay. I believe Harris will bring us forward rather than the backwards that the MAGATs desire.

Style over substance makes some people happy... But it doesn't win the game...
Nope, which is why your obese criminal orange shitgibbon is going to lose -- again. People want hope. We want to look forward to a positive future, we want more equality rather than less, we want more freedom rather than less. We want inclusiveness, not division. We want our current prosperity to continue, which history shows us doesn't happen under (R) regimes.

Your poutrage, envy and resentment of Ms. Harris is not based on anything to do with her political positions; it has everything to do with your personal issues. Oh, and her race.

I agree. We have somebody to vote for and not against

There is no reason for optimism....every day the American Empire gets closer to death....every day America continues its descent into chaos and destitution.
