Who is that swing voter?

So 9-13 % of republicans are too embaressed to vote republican ?

Ron Paul should run on the Libertarian ticket.

Why so he can not be elected? He's got a much better shot as an R and now is the perfect time with the party not knowing what it stands for anymore.

If Paul miraculously won the R nomination though he could count on Republican support over whoever the Democrats nominate. We doesn't get that as a Libertarian candidate.

Frankly, I would rather define "Swing Voter"---

any republican who is dissatisfied with Bush and Company but could not bring thenseves to vote for a Democrat ---

plus any Democrat which can not stand Hillary.and/or is dissatisfied with the lackluster approach the Demo Congress has made to gertting us out of Iraq,

---plus Us independents, who are repulsed by the actions of BOTH major parties. --

Added up, that ammounts to approximately 68% of the voting public. all we need is a bonified leader

I like Donistons definition better than Cato's. In KY Catos sells womens clothing. Very fitting for them.

Do libertarian-thinkers have enough to swing a vote?

As we know not all Libertarians are Republicans but I think they (like other groups) will play a role in the election. Little l's who lean right were especially getting fed up with the expansion of government and government spending under Bush and the Republican controlled Congress. Now that Republicans are in the minority their rhetoric has seemed to return to limited spending.

Will voters trust the Republicans to follow up on their rhetoric this time unlike last time they were in power? A definite question mark I'm sure in the minds of these voters.
