I am. I usually let the Christians save up those days to take them off. I am cooking dinner for the family at my sister's place, but it is almost all prepared already, all I have to do is apply the heat.
I have prepared:
Turducken with andouille sausage dressing, boneless chicken stuffed with shrimp ettoufe. Caulimash with bacon and chives (well this one is made at the site, but I have all the ingredients ready), mashed taters, baked sweet potatoes with 'mallows, some eggplant jambalaya for the few vegetarians among us (myself included), and triple-layered pumpkin pie... (a special recipe my wife and I came up with ourselves...)
Mac'n'Cheese for the kiddies, and for the wimps I have a turkey that I can deep fry at a moment's notice. (Just in case there is more people than originally thought... or somebody balks at the turducken)...
We will have the entire family there tomorrow for dinner and open the family gifts... (The Santa gifts come the next day, of course..)
Merry Christmas all you Christians...
Joyous Yuletide and Io Saturnalia for the Pagans...
Joyous Kwanzaa for those who wish to celebrate more secularly and with less commercialism....
