I'm not an expert on Asian culture, despite watching all the Asian TV shows on Netflix.

Am I mistaken that China is almost entirely populated by Asians?
From what I see, there doesn't seem to be a lot of whites, blacks, and Latinos milling around.

And whether we like it or not, don't we have to ask ourselves a question?

Is China winning because it's homogeneous?

We're a multicultural nation, and we'll always be one now. It's baked into the cake.
Not matter what the racists of any race may try to do to ethnically cleanse America, that ship has sailed.
We're multi-cultural forever.

And from all appearances, there's no way that a multi-cultural nation can ever experience the solidarity that a homogeneous nation can.
Why are we the most socially regressive developed culture in the West?
It's pretty simple. We just fucking don't like one another.
I'm not pointing fingers.
You have to go pretty far to find a more visceral hater than I. I've got almost this entire forum on "ignore."

Now being homogeneous isn't enough. We have African nations that are almost entirely black, and they're still pretty much as fucked as they've always been,
going back to the times when they sold their own people to white slave traders. They have roving gangs running around, steeling livestock, raping women, and killing children.
They have state authorized mutilation of female genitalia. Basically, homogeneousness is clearly not enough to elevate them.

China, on the other hand, seems to be doing pretty fucking well with it. There eating our diverse-ass lunch, and may well be plunging us into third world status.
And if being diverse is what's putting us behind them, and I'm pretty fucking sure that it is, nothing is ever going to change.

My hope is that it's the ideological and not the ethnic diversity that's killing us.
That might not be true, but that's our only chance.
The ideological diversity can be somewhat ameliorated by partition.
That might not do the trick, but if it doesn't,
please understand with certainty that NOTHING will.
 
China is only about ten percent Turkic-speaking minorities, to answer the question.

Anyone who thinks ethnic homgeneity somehow leads to stability and prosperity is sadly mistaken.

Any fair reading of Chinese history reveals a nation consistently riven by some of the worst civil wars, violence, fragmentation, and crimes against humanity in recorded human history, up to and including the 20th century.

Everything goes in cycles, I am happy for the average, garden variety Chinese citizen that they are experiencing a period of their history marked by relative peace and growing prosperity.

there are 56 ethnic groups in China and 302 different languages spoken with many endangered. the numbers for crime are very suspect.
 
In terms of ideological diversity, America is too evenly split for either side to totally dominate.

Too many see this as a good thing, but it very definitely isn't.

It leaves BOTH sides in a constant state of rage.

But it also provides the opportunity for partition.
Partition is not widely regarded as a viable option, however,
and as a result,
America will probably boil over into an unlivable , chaotic, anarchistic dystopia
before partition can save the people.
 
America became powerful because of the immigrants. They became productive people in the country. Many started businesses and employed workers. The Repubs know that, but they see demonizing immigrants as a way to get votes and power.

I know they are pissed about the 'Opium Wars' and blame the West for a 'Century of Humiliation', so that gives them a central rallying point.
They have a 'Social Credit Rating' system that forces people to 'comply' with the Government dictates. That's a 'unifying' force.
The Uyghurs are an ethnic group that China is trying to 'Chinaize'. So ... so much for 'diversity'.

They have an Autocratic Government. There's not a lot of 'Debate' about what the Priorities are.
So, if they plan to become the dominate economic force in the world, we should probably recognize their goal and prepare for it.
(Uh, cutting ourselves into 10 small Nation-States is probably a real bad idea)

OK. So if a State is 49% Blue and 51% Red, it goes into the 'Red Column'. And, if a State is 49% Red and 51% Blue it goes into the 'Blue Column', is that the idea?

What's the difference? They could all join NATO.

Sharing a nationality with crackers is not a humiliation with which I can enjoy living.
Their core values, even relative to the Chinese, are despicable in my eyes.

O wow you watched Asian tb shows on Netflix, why thats how Joe bidwen learned about china ,he was a big fan of kung fu that how he handled corn pop .

America became powerful because of the industrial revolution and ww2 other nations were for decades after the war.This allowed our nation to prosper.
Its also the tie period when women made a hug impact on the labor force.

No. New England, New York, Washington, Oregon, and California join Canada. It's already right there and adjoining.
DC too, sort of like a Cold War West Berlin. Those move no matter what. The USA is simply too uncivilized for them.

Everybody else can decide on their own to stay or go.
 
It just changes who hates who in Asia. The Japanese are generally hated by other Asians because of WW 2--well their imperialism through the first half of the 20th Century. Koreans hate Chinese. Vietnamese hate the Chinese. There are factions within China that hate each other. One basis is language. Chinese isn't just one language but several very distinct variants. It's similar to someone from say New York meeting someone from Alabama. New York twang versus Southern drawl. They might look down on each other for their accents.
