the women and the black guy should both be charged
she hit him, but the person he knocked out was not in an offensive posture and did not do anything to indicate a threat was imminent

My first thought too. Dude should have been arrested IMO, but it's Brazil. She was clearly drunk, and the boyfriend seemed to be no threat at all.

At the bottom of the article it states that they were both making racist remarks to the dude as they tried to cut the line.

Not sure if it's true, or if it warrants assault, but it's clear that the guy didn't want to punch a woman.

And yes...the bikini was a nice addition to the story.

It's current events. It can be moved to a different forum if your ADHD is acting up.

It could also be argued that overt racism belongs in a political forum, even though you don't see the problem with it.

Agree 100%. They were both evidently aggressive earlier, but at the time of the punch, the victim was NOT a threat.

Agreed its current events. Not POLITICAL though. Should be moved to a different forum and probably will be. Several have been moved today for same reason.

He moved in and was perceived as a threat. I know it's a natural reaction to help one's GF but he wasn't saying "Honey, honey, stop!" He came at the man.
