Might work if it were not for the correct terminology which is Diastasis symphysis pubis. We have 4 cats, and none of them fear cucumbers, hot dogs, or anything resembling such a shape..

Diastasis describes the abnormal separation of the normally joined halves of the bones.
That is an abnormality, a dislocation of a joint, not straight forward anatomy.
Symphysis means literally growing together.

I stand by what I said. Pussy is an abbreviation of pubic symphysis or PUbiS SYmphysis.

Many cats fear and react accordingly to new or odd objects brought unexpectedly into their personal space.
You could anticipate a similar reaction to almost any object presented in this same way, by some cats.

Copperheads smell like cucumbers when they are about to strike. Maybe related. Not sure. Just came in from the garden and one of the cats is laying up under a cucumber trellis, so there seems to be exceptions.

Reportedly flies don't like the smell of them either which is why some people put cuke slices on their trash bins.

As far as I've seen. Pussy is a cat, and it was often used as a term for scaredy cat. It's other uses are a perversion of the word brought by porn. Many slang insults have real meanings, and reasoning that the slang is an insult to. The c word, was actually the name of a prominent female tribe, that bastards degraded to slander women.

I maintain that the origin of the term applied to female human anatomy began in medical school, anatomy 101.

Yes.
Some cats are catnip cats and some cats just aren't.
In spite of popular misconceptions about the possible narcotic effect of the mint, the fact is that catnip produces an odor that is molecularly very similar to a pheromone given off by nursing mother cats, that produces the euphoric kitten like response by association in most cats.
Either about one third of all cats have too sharp of a sense of smell to be confused by the aroma, or their mothers pheromones are different enough from the mint that no association is ever made.
The cats are not saying.
