Why are we so concerned about Hugoland ?
Plenty of other opressive countries out there....
Many of which we support.

I'd guess it's because it's easier to regurgitate the same articles written about Cuba over the last 50 years than to make a considered analysis of the reasons for the rejection of the western capitalist model throughout the continent of South America.

Or it could just be because 'The Economist' keps printing stuff about it and Dano really, really likes 'The Economist'.

I thhink it is because they nationalized the oil companies and big oil has extreme influence in our govt.
However big oil is playing along with Hugo.....
