Why can't you ever get family to not discuss politics?

My family almost never discusses politics. My GF and I never do and she's a Democrat. She knows she lives in my house, though.
BTW, she's against any new gun control laws, but on a rare occasion grumbles under her breath about Trump. I can live with that.

Never tell them how you vote dude...otherwise when you go to the polls they'll vote for the opposing candidate just to cancel out your vote.
