Why Did Smollett Create The Hoax?

Are there not enough examples of racism occurring in the current political landscape, so now lefties have to create them? As it turns out, lefties cannot even come up with real examples of racism. No lefty can post examples of racism on this forum, so I am not surprised that lefties had to resort to the fake racism incident that Smollett created.

Lefties will not be posting any good reason why Smollett did it, and they will not be posting any examples of racism that are occurring in our current political landscape. Ok lefties, post your inversion, diversion, dodge, distraction, or evasion. This paragraph is a reference paragraph.

Could it have been a publicity stunt because his career was fading? Until he talks we will never know.
 
I had never heard of him before this happened... Now I know too much about him.

I have every reason to be appalled by false accusations, and if this guy manufactured a hoax he should have the full weight of criminal justice thrown at him.

I also do not believe there is a single post from me jumping on the bandwagon when this incident initially happened.

Your denial of the ubiquitous and daily examples of overt racism that occur on this board, with the full approval and sanction of the forum owners, speaks directly to your abject dishonesty.

Yeah, we were watching that mess on the news last night and trying to figure out his motive. Some kind of stupid publicity stunt? Aren't there better ways to get attention -- like donating to some cause, giving of his time/fame to some cause, and so on?

What a moron, for someone we never heard of before all this, especially.

I care as much about it as you guys cared about a Bernie supporter shooting at Republicans

Or as much as you cared about a leftist beating the shit out of Senator Rand Paul

Or as much as you cared about leftists assaulting republicans in public places

I don’t support this guy wanting to kill democrats but I understand. Maybe democrats should do some self reflection and think about what they are doing that pisses people off.

Smollet is nuts. He claims it was about him not being paid like the stars. I fail to see how this plot was going to make him richer. The Empire stars make 175 K per episode. Smollet 20 K. 18 episodes, 360 k.
