Why do most colleges have administrative staff far far greater than academic staff?

Here are some randomly chosen big colleges and the numbers i got from wikipedia. IMO it's all the WOKE BS employees like diversity consultants and drug counselors.

Stanford univ - academic staff 2323, administrative staff 18,369

Ohio State Univ - 7310 and 27,158
