Why Do Trump Supporters Hate The Poor.

After all, Trump apparently does. So if you support Trump, you must too. But why? What in the hell did we ever do to you! Now when it comes to Trump hating the poor, there are many examples of it. Mainly his giving huge tax breaks to the wealthy and making cuts to things like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and Food Stamps to pay for it. But just taking away help from the poor apparently isn't enough. His tariffs are causing food prices and other things to rise. How in the hell can anybody support Trump and call themselves an American!
It’s hilarious that a clueless moron like you would spout the exact opposite of what a famous socialist figured out when he actually bothered to see the real world. Born into wealth, trapped in a smug echo chamber, he realized it was too easy to view everything through the tired oppressor-versus-oppressed lens. Unlike most, he didn’t just preach, he walked the walk, living among the working class to understand their struggles. What he found flipped his world upside down. His socialist book club buddies kicked him out, and his high-society peers shunned him for daring to speak the truth about their hollow “care” for the masses. You should try learning from his guts instead of parroting the same old bullshit, like always.

“In order to hate imperialism you have got to be part of it… The middle-class Socialist begins with a theoretical love for the working class, but because he is not part of it, and cannot understand its real needs, he is driven to mere theorizing or to patronizing the workers. The result is a kind of disgust with the working class itself.” George Orwell

It's an interesting discussion about the best way to help the poor and reduce poverty. I look at California where middle, upper middle class and rich home owners practice NIMBYism as a religion and basically fight any and all new development. The result being skyrocketing home prices and a huge homeless population. Yet if you ask these home owners, many will tell you how compassionate they are and they care for the poor etc.

We also have high taxes. You can't avoid paying them here. And we have many redistributive programs that, in theory at least, are intended to help the poor. A fair amount of data might say otherwise.

We put in strong environmental measures, but the trade off is we have very high electrical costs. We want to transition off fossil fuels, so we have high gas taxes and the highest gas prices in the country. For those with money, it's an easier trade off to make. For the poor, not so much.

And for as compassionate as we claim to be, we have the highest poverty rate in the country. So not 'caring' about the poor seems a very bi-partisan thing.

They just have to move their wealth where it can't be confiscated, and they will.
Tht claim has been made in many countries through time, and it does not happen. Rich people have the same connections to their homeland and their families and friends as anyone else. You believe every right wing wealthy meme.
Confiscation is not paying taxes. They derive a hell of a lot more services than regular people get. They are not suffering. They are never ever going to overpay.

Wealth confiscation and redistribution doesn't work. You can try taxing the rich heavily, that won't work either. They just change their behaviors and move money to were it can't be taxed away for the most part.

The point I'm making, and you are missing, is that government cannot make wealth distribution fairer. They can try and invariably will fail. Simply giving money to everyone will still result in wealth inequity. The smart and energetic will do things with their money to make it grow. The dumb and lazy will squander it and then demand more.

The problem today is many, most, governments live far beyond their means. On top of that, they pile on rules and regulations that raise the cost of entry into markets beyond what anyone can afford to pay.

More leftist retardation on display

That is just the politics of envy.
... and @gmark77 only envies the large sum of money that CEOs get...

He doesn't envy the constant pressure to perform at a top-notch level, the responsibility of successfully running an entire company, the loooooooooong hours, the travel, the tough negotiations, the sacrifice of family life (time with family), etc. etc.

That stupid old thing. If we taxed the wealthy and corporations, we would bring in half a trillion a year. Not this year, but every year, and growing with inflation. It would make a huge difference in education and everything else.
"the wealthy and corporations" ARE taxed, numb nuts... In fact, the majority of taxes are paid by "them".

What some CEO does doesn't matter to the Left. They see people in terms of work, productivity, ability, etc., as basically interchangeable. They buy into the lie that anyone can be anything they want in life.

Yeah, that would happen? The wealthy always say they will take off. They claim it in other developed nations. Yet they stay. You believe all the lies and always will.
Have you seen the mansions and estates they have built? They live like royalty, above the law.
They're going to go where the value is...

They aren't appeals to envy. They are FACTS! You know, things that you run away from. The wealthy are god damned thieves, at best. Fucking vampires. For example, Trump wanted to make asbestos legal to use again. And no doubt there were some bloodthirsty corporations out there who would have started doing so, if allowed.
No, YOU are a thief for wanting to "Robin Hood" their wealth from them.

It means absolutely nothing to those people that there are some folk on this planet who can buy yachts for hundreds of millions of dollars...and at the same time there are toddlers who starve to death in shriveled bodies.

They are so fucked up that no amount of reasoning will interrupt their delusions.

Count your blessings that you are not among them.
That's the nature of an imperfect world, and thieving from "the wealthy" won't create the "imagined" joy of the "Lennon Utopia". (well, dystopia imo)

Actually this is just more juvenile tripe.

1. Only about 30% inherit it. Note, that those that do inherit it are far, far, more likely to live in a democratic-socialist big government nation then one that relies on capitalism and limited government.

2. The working class, for the most part, wouldn't have a job or be working if someone wasn't offering them a job and direction on what to do. Few lifetime workers are cut out to be leaders and innovators.

3. That's not how it works. If I make some wage or earn some amount of money, it is often in part to the costs of gaining the skills and knowledge to do that work. I get paid more because I can do more. CEO's also are paid, in part, for the profits those they lead and supervise generate from their work. So, if a CEO of some large corporation were getting millions a year in pay, it's because they have say, thousands of workers each generating a few hundred dollars that goes towards the CEO's compensation. 1000 x 100 = 100,000. You can see that large number of productive workers generate huge amounts of money to a corporation.

CEO's, management, and professionals are often not paid for their labor. They are paid for their knowledge, leadership, and innovation. Ideas, foresight, and knowing how to get things done are what makes big money. Mopping the floor is necessary, but it doesn't take any real skill, knowledge, or leadership to do it.

My guess...admittedly just a guess...is that nobody ever becomes a "self-made billionaire" without fucking people who helped him/her become a billionaire; fucked others who should have been paid more for work done for him/her; fucked customers who should not have had to pay nearly as much as he/she could extract...and all sorts of other shit that a decent person would not do.

Nothing wrong with that considering the economic system in which we all live right now, but it truly does not differ appreciably from stealing it or extorting for it.

Most rich people seem to become rich in America in one of three ways: As I mentioned above, by fucking others; by being born with it; or by marrying into it.
