Why do we need politicians? ---Please discuss this subject

Why do we need politicians?

I can see why a Mayor is useful ONLY when there is a population density of 1 family per every square mile...but...

IF A FAMILY UNIT ELECTED ITS OWN MAYOR:

If you Elect someone in your family to be the Mayor [mayor is Spanish means "The Best"] of your family....

That Mayor would be paid by the family...

That Mayor would then raise their Pay-Rate [ala Taxes]...

That Mayor would spend to money without disclosure...

Go ahead and elect a Mayor.


Which Chief of the Police,
or Chief of the Fire dept
or Chief of Sanitation,
or Chief of the Post Office ,
or Chief of Hospital Doctors
needs a Mayor to do their jobs?

Which school teacher needs a Mayor to do their jobs?

Which Chief cannot do their jobs without a Mayor?

When was that last time your Mayor showed up at your place of work to "examine" your work acumen?

Without a Mayor, no one will remove the snow from the streets?

Do you check with the Mayor before posting your opinion here of JPP?

A politician and his "Government" should have a money generating business that does not run on contributions from tax payers.

Replace politicians with 24/7 tally boards of A/P & A/R ---everyone else can stay busy working until their pension kicks in!

At the end of every day EZ-PASS accounting dept knows the Year to date's balance.

But common folks have to wait a year to find out how much their politicians have put them into debt.

Why else do folks need to worry about the "cost of living" increases, one school graduation class after the other.

Please discuss this subject.

The butcher the baker and the candlestick maker and the fisherman and the teacher and the washermanand the policeman and the fireman and the plumber and the electrician and the cook and the taxi driver and truck driver and the dress maker .... all of them know their jobs...each has a boss and supervisor and accounting dept and mailroom clerk and even a bunch of lawyers ...

Because the Founders designed a representative government

Its a GOOD thing

Pretty hard for them to know what the world would look like 200 years later

Its why they designed a government where the CURRENT HUMANS were at the helm

We still have no need for full time legislators who spend most of their time trying to get reelected, and garnering more money. Most States do not have full time legislators.

Yes. For disputes.

No Politician is required until there is a division on opinions of a group of members.

WHICH WAY SHOULD WE GO?

Parties form to be represented as a bloc of same minded members.

After time passes we uniformly accept this as means to resolve differing claims ---one cannot take his own opinion as acceptable to all's concerns. So laws and parliamentary debate allows different minded members to compromise mutually.

So it is only when differing members BOTH pay taxes to the same coffers ---that politicizing Politicians are born.

Politicians are likened to Labor Union foremen that savvy-ly Keep to workers happy ---except that Politicians don't produce any commodities.

Now I'm confused here, is the implied theme of this thread that we don't need a Governmemt, or, we don't need anyone to run or administer that Government?

My theme of this thread [I started] is about "Politicians"


My theme of this thread [I started] is NOT about anarchy.

My theme of this thread [I started] is NOT about we don't need anyone to run civil government.

My theme of this thread is about "Politicians" [aka carpet-bagging]

For the police dept to function, they don't need "Politicians"!
For the Hospital to function, they don't need "Politicians"!
For the Fire dept to function, they don't need "Politicians"!
For the Schools to function, they don't need "Politicians"!
For the court of Law to function, they don't need "Politicians"!
For the restaurant to function, they don't need "Politicians"!

Inlieu of politicians ---all society needs are "ombudsmen" [noun]
an official appointed to investigate individuals' complaints
against maladministration, especially that of public authorities.

aka Official "Hall-Monitors"

A hall monitor is a person who checks to see that students aren't wandering the halls.


When a "Hall-Monitor" catches someone ---they take their name ...and... HAND IT TO A POLITICIAN?

Why does the Mayor make a speech when a snow storm is coming? ---That's the wrong person to rely upon when a snow storm is coming!


HELP! HELP! CALL THE MAYOR!

Are the Mayors there to blame? ---so we don't get all the
labor-union representatives upset and
reminded that their pay-contracts are coming up for review
---to keep up with the latest cost of living?
 
Bhaktajan, you’re suggesting anarchy disguised as populism. You would have multi governments such as family clans, street gangs, crime families with multi crews? Each of those organizations would have their own enforcers for establishing internal discipline and waging territorial wars against other organizations? Respectfully, Supposn
