Why has the driving force of the right become hatred of gays and trans.

It happens when a party decide to operate on stupidity and hatred as a driving mechanism to get supporters, and with the ability to control the weak and ugly. This has been done forever , it is the general mechanism that drives dictatorship. You give them someone or something to hate so the peoples problems are are then blamed on what is hated, it justify' s peoples perceived failure by giving them something else to blame that perceived failure on. .
AS far as stupidity is concerned , once the right wing hate party takes over a state , they becomes the enemy of education, proven by the fact that the worst schools and education are found in red states and with that also the least intelligent people , which can't be argued. That is simply the fact that stupid people are the easiest people to control with ignorance and general stupidity. People who have the capacity to think always question why someone would pick the right wing , when in fact the are totally working against 90% of the populations best interest.
When a party has nothing to offer they come up with , hatred and cruelty against gays and trans.
 
Someone from the right will pop up on here saying that they believe in equal rights for everyone, but just don't want the LGBTQ community to "shove it in my face," which really means them living honestly and accepting who they are.

Conservatives really want to go back to the 1950's, when everyone pretended.

The Trump age within the GOP, more than any other has focused on 'demonization of other' as almost their sole messaging point. they know their base is deeply hateful and they just have to feed that hate.


2016 GE - The Brown Menace coming out of Mexico to rape you.

2018 MT - The Brown Menace coming from S.America to also rape you.

2020 GE- The Brown Menace Antifa, like Corey Booker, coming to living in your suburbs.

The problem for the Magat's is this messaging alienated big parts of the 'brown populations' who are voters!


That is why Magat's clung so eagerly to the 'Trans Menace' narrative. A group they could demonize and whip up the required 'hate', but who did not represent a big voting block.

That the hate they are feeding it AGAIN spreading up the chain to gays was not the original intent, but haters gonna hate.

The majority of the 'right' as you define it here are older white christian males. They need to demonize various groups of people in order to feel better about their pathetic lives. Lives that are closer to the end than to the beginning. So they demonize 'others'. It is cruel, ignorant, and mean spirited. They are defined by their fear, their ignorance, and their hatred. They are corrupted at their core. Black hearted, awful people. There are a bunch of them here. They aren't that hard to figure out.
