They will be quaking in their boots soon, the Big One is just around the corner.

I think ppl in the bay area walk/drive around avoiding the reality of that... Like the folks living around Vesuvius & the like..

If it hits shallow right under the city tens of thousands are going to die but they will rebuild, no doubt.. Prices would be lower, for a while, but ppl are going to move there..

There are actually several faults in the bay area, some as bad, if not worse than San Andreas...
