metric is better. however, you morons drive on the wrong side of the road and have the steering wheel in the wrong position.

Uhhhh....Hey Tom.....no Brit and anyone from the UK I have ever met ever orderd a 0.89 liter of beer or ale. They always ask for a pint. Also, when you go to the fair or the ball game do you ask for a 28cm coney or do you ask for a foot long? Oh....and did Roger Bannister break the 4 minute mile or did he break the 4 minute 1.61 Km? Just asking Tom. :)

From this it would appear that metrication is the least of your problems.

What is a 'liter'?
What is a 'ball game'?
What is a 'coney'?
What is a 'foot long'?

If Americans would concentrate on speaking English we might tackle measurement at a future date.
