Why isn't communism hated as much as nazism?

Things are terribly oversimplified about these topics.
The US history is hugely distorted - we've destroyed more democracies and created more dictatorships than the other way around.
The history of communism is broadly misunderstood - for example, was there any chance that an authoritarian system of some sort wasn't going to take hold in China? Chiang Kai-Shek's government was quite bad and there's a reason he was opposed.
A lot of smaller communist countries have had far more powerful countries attack them economically, making their problems much worse.
The issues are quite misrepresented. Interesting anecdote - one of the last communist societies overthrown was Yugoslavia. I had a man install my water heater who was an immigrant who had lived in communist Yugoslavia. He said it was a paradise, that the people there cared for each other and were very happy. Not what I'd call typical for communist countries - but when have you ever heard that side of the history?

Mankind cant perform in large masses without protections like our founders designed into our system.

"Communism" is a catch-all phrase that really lacks clarity and precision. While communism has been an economic and political failure, not all communist states can reasonably be said to have committed crimes against humanity. Not on the scale we are talking about in this context. There are many European communists who never commited crimes against humanity, and whatever one thinks about the political repression under Fidel, there was never any large scale crimes against humanity in Cuba that even remotely resembles what the Nazis were doing.
I think we should be talking about the crimes of humanity committed by the Soviets, and more specifically Stalin.
Karly Marx probably would have been mortified that the soviets coopted the name "communism" or "Marxism". There is no indication from his historical writings that he ever envisioned a soviet style totalitarian state, or Stalinist system of repression and terror.
I really don't think there is any reasonable doubt that the racist, genocidal policies of mass murder clinically executed by the Nazis on an industrialized scale has any analog in history. But we should acknowledge that the Soviets, particularly under Stalin committed unspeakable crimes against humanity.
Both are SOCIALIST in nature, propagating the state control over the economy, the banks, education, healthcare, property...etc., Educate yourself.

Yep.....just like its won in Cuba, the USSR (former), North Korea, Indo China and , China that uses capitalism stolen from other nations to drive its economy and all the other examples of failed communism throughout world history. Hell even the experiment in socialism is failing in the Scandinavian nations.....Socialism is nothing but a pipe dream as it can only exist when freedom is taken away from THE PEOPLE, as free will is a hell of a thing.

It's not. There's been way too much of that - but not only that at all. Here's a question - were more innocent Vietnamese people killed in the Vietnam war by the US, or the last 20 years under communist rule?
That's an easy one, "The Killing Fields" sacrificed over 1,000,000 innocents at the alter of communism after the "cut and run" democrats left yet another US Ally twisting in the wind in Indochina (A democrat congress had US servicemen in the field when they cut off monetary logistics). The better question is how many innocents have been left in shallow unmarked graves in the quest for "social justice" (communism) over the last 100 years? Bout 100,000,000.
Communism/Socialism is the most evil government entity ever conceived by mankind....its an impossible pipe dream as long as freewill exists as a gift from the creator. Some people, it would appear would rather be FREE than socially adjusted by a BIG BROTHER GOVERNMENT via threat of prison or death. Each and every person on earth is a uniquely independent individual....collectivism can't possibly work void of taking away that freedom and individualism through threats and violence. And If you can't see that ignorance is part of the problem....you will remain part of the problem that leads to despotism and fascism. No one can legislate morality.
Once you have "lived" long enough you will one day mature up (mentally) and crease drinking the left wing koolaid. Article Four, Section Four, Clause One of the United States Constitution (with a quick study of Federalist No. 10) would be good point to begin your honest education.
