What has happened to our gas prices and inflation since Trump launched his Pearl Harbor-type attack? Gas has gone up over a buck. That would tell anyone except you and Trump that the gulf is our problem too.
NATO is a defensive alliance. We were not attacked. We did the attacking.

The point is the Gulf being closed impacts the world price of oil. We are part of the world. Iran closed it, and our prices soared. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Trump said something stupid and you ran with it, as usual.

I am neither a "Dem" nor a "thug"...you fucking moron. But I do want our nation to be considered reasonable, wise, and appropriate...rather than what it has become under Trump and the morons who voted him into his current position.

Trump started a war that has international consequences...and did it without consultation with the other nations with whom we normally consult in ventures like this. Now Trump is asking them to clean up the mess Trump made...essentially asking them to wipe his ass after having taken a shit.

And people like you think this is the way we should conduct our foreign policy.

The point is, the deadbeat leeches of NATO can get off their asses and address it; the US already did the heavy lifting with Iran.

They are "part of te world", too, the part that needs the straight opened the most. Let them handle their own business, for a change.

If Iran could close the English Channel or say, the Strait of Gibraltar, NATO without the US couldn't open it to maritime traffic.

Without us NATO couldn't put one aircraft carrier group into action at this point in time. There are two carriers in the UK they have rendered useless by decommissioning the ships that would make up the carrier group.
