Based on what we have seen so far, I can understand that anger over Floyd's death. Like all of these stories, I am still waiting for all of the information to come out. But, as it stands, it would appear that the police acted inappropriately and were rightly fired and likely will face charges.

So while the anger is understandable and I have no problem with protests, what I don't understand is the looting and destruction of their own communities?

Why loot Target? What did Target do? Did they harbor the guilty police officers?

How does walking out of Target with five flat screen TVs make anything right for George?

As far as I can tell, Target has a lot of left wing sensibilities. They were one of the first places to open up their stores to the tranny movement with their bathrooms. The odd thing is Target is headquartered in Minneapolis.

The last question is why do these things happen predominantly in places run by democrats? Minneapolis hasn't had a Republican Mayor since 1973. Democrats own the entire Twin Cities. Why aren't these things happening in the South?
 
It's funny how hundreds of armed protesters at capitols are peaceful (not even littering), yet hundreds protesting this asshole cop (who undoubtedly will be charged) are violent and destroy shit. Well, not really funny....
 
Must be something genetic about black people that they need to bust shit up to get their point across.

Personally, I think they dilute the message when they are seen looting and stealing and destroying. Of course it is their own neighborhood so fuck them.

"Hey, did you hear George Floyd was killed by a cop? Let's go get a free TV"

Because those places have more black people.

I was wondering the same thing. How many of these people will end up with the chinese virus now? Should we withhold medical care because they blatantly ignored social distancing and wearing masks?

In Minnesota businesses owners are arrested for daring to open their businesses.
But, it's OK to steal from them. :(
Maybe the rioters were all 6 feet apart, so it was alright.

That is a great point. Try to earn a living and get arrested. Steal shit and cops stand down.

When Alton Sterling was killed in Baton Rouge while going for his gun resisting arrest, the citizens there didn't burn and loot their neighborhoods.
On July 6, Black Lives Matter held a candlelight vigil in Baton Rouge, with chants of "We love Baton Rouge", and calling for justice.
On July 7, a protest was held in Dallas, Texas, relating to this shooting of Sterling on July 6. At the end of the peaceful protest, Micah Xavier Johnson opened fire in an ambush, killing five police officers and wounding eleven others including two civilians.
