APP - Why the democrat party really fears Bernie Sanders

The democrat party is in full throated panic over Bernie and his Sandernistas. The real question is why. From a policy perspective there is nothing Bernie has said he wants to do that today’s modern democrat party hasn’t said they want

There isn’t a hairs bit of difference between Bernie and the rest running for President from a policy standpoint.

But the one difference is that Bernie calls himself a socialist. That is what they are afraid of. For the first time in a presidential election Socialism will be on the ballot and democrats down ballot will have to defend it

Democrats have always preferred the incremental approach to bringing socialism to the US. If it is on the ballot and loses, they could lose ground for a generation.

I don't think they fear him, I think the upper echelons of the party don't like him and never have. If I had to guess, he's only allowed to caucus with them and run for the nomination this go around to be a whipping boy and likely would have had a "heart attack" in 2016 if he didn't put his funds towards Hillary.

I think bernie means it more. he still may be a corporate shill, but he's less obvious than all the others. they fear authenticity.
