look at medicare and medicaid, even obama is running around saying they are corrupt, in the red, run poorly....yet you think by creating yet another government run system is going to improve it?

let's fix the current systems and then expand them for all ages....we don't need the public option, we already have it, its just that we limit it by age

Agreed.
 
The original idea was to slowly lower the age with time. That was the whole point behind Lieberman's medicaid at 55 plan. Before Lieberman killed his own idea for god knows why.

i never heard of that....

we need public health care. but i am not sure about another government run system. why is it the folks on capital hill can't see the somewhat simplicity in simply expanding the current system?
