Why we can't come together... A Must Read...

We can't come together because each of the two parties has a kneejerk and irrational bias built into it, preventing individuals who are brainwashed with party dogma to either agree with or learn from an individual considered from the "other side".

The republicans and libertarians are unable to criticize anything labelled "capitalist", or "free market", or "pro-business".

Democrats are unable to criticize anything about "government".

So the reality that big government and big business conspire to keep us all in chains is almost entirely unfathomable to the average person who passionately has political beliefs.

So libs, understand that the government does things to protect it's big business funders.

And Republican/libertarians, understand that "capitalism" the best system of satisfying our wants needs and desires, as Sean Hannity puts it, has failed when vast segments of the population are unable to get any of those.

--->Anti-Party<---

The new party. Yes, that's an oxymoron.

I guess I just don't get emotionally invested in any specific topic. If I felt extreme about one topic or two I guess I might feel different. I've been attacked by both parties because I don't agree with certain things they stand for. But I think that the instant you submit yourself to a party you start justifying anything and everything that party stands for without question. You basically become a party parrot.

Yep.

The Libertarian party is growing but I don't think they will make it far. Liberty is a perspective more than a party and should be a major focus of all parties.

This new concept that "I should be able to own anything and do anything" isn't real Liberty. Liberty is a compound word and certain Liberties can cause a domino affect of Liberty losses for others. Freedom isn't free.

They just think that being for weed, or gays makes it ok to be blind to corporate malfeasance.
