Why won't people who oppose abortion discuss the religious element?

I am NOT saying or suggesting that everyone who opposes abortion does so on religious grounds...nor am I saying or suggesting that some atheists and agnostics DO NOT oppose abortion...

...but I am saying that without a doubt, religious convictions play the single most energized opposition to a woman's choice to terminate a pregnancy occurring in her own body if she chooses.

I just wonder, considering that to be so, why opponents to abortion do not discuss that religious aspect.

Any ideas why that is...ANYONE?

Either side of the question itself...WHY NOT?

why won't people who want to kill their unborn children discuss the scientific facts of natal development?......an atheist can be totally opposed to abortion, many are......Christians and Buddhist can equally be opposed to the taking of life......

the mystery isn't that religious people oppose abortion.......the mystery is why lib'ruls support it for political reasons.......

I don't think Jesus ever mentioned abortion, and if you ask the actual authors of the Old Testament - the Jews - they don't seem to believe their religious texts mandate a total ban on abortion.

I've had Jewish friends tell me that same thing.

Wonder where the Catholics and other Christians who oppose abortion are?

is the opposition to murder "mostly religious"?

US law does not define abortion as murder. You are just a religious fanatic.
